Patrick Lemieux spent twenty-nine years in medical device sales — Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson Ethicon, Biosense Webster, Biotronik — and several startups, including one through to exit. Long enough to watch genuinely better technology stall, not because the science was wrong, but because the company could not put a number in front of an investor that survived a second question.

He began his career in corporate finance and investment banking, where he held Series 7 and Series 63 registrations. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Ball State University, and later, while working full time, an Executive MBA from the University of Notre Dame. That is where the financial modelling took hold. He subsequently earned the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst certification.

Core Delta came out of a specific frustration: founders being handed valuations they could not interrogate, by advisors who would not show their work. Every model here is built to be opened, traced and argued with — and to say plainly what it cannot prove.
